Amy Jurrens, 54, of George, Iowa, died Sunday, March 22, 2026, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Neb.

Funeral services were held Friday, March 27, 2026, at the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in George. Burial followed in the Evergreen Lawn Cemetery in George.

Amy is survived by her husband of 33 years, Jerry Jurrens of George; their children, Conner (Katrina) Jurrens of St. Paul, Minn., and Lauren (Parker) Fryar of Iowa City, Iowa; her parents, Gary and Beverly Siebring of George; mother-in-law, Lois Jurrens of George; siblings, Eric Siebring of New Albin, Iowa, and Gina Siebring (Dean Julius) of George; sister-in-law, Susan (Chon) O’Clair of Matlock, Iowa; several nieces and nephew; aunts and uncles, Marianne (Arlyn) Johnson of George, Carol (Marion) Van Bemmel of Luverne, Minn., and Jean Elbers of Brandon; along with many cousins.
