Alvina Christoffels, 87

Alvina Mae Christoffels, 87, of Luverne, Minn., died Saturday, Nov. 11 at the Good Samaritan Society – Mary Jane Brown Home in Luverne.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Nov. 16 at the American Reformed Church in Luverne. Burial was in the Memory Gardens Cemetery, also in Luverne.

Alvina is survived by her husband, Don; four children, Doran (Jean) Christoffels of Chandler, Minn., Darci (Dave) Hampson of Oak Creek, Wis., Dean Christoffels of Houston, Texas, and Denise Traxler of Le Center, Minn.; nine grandchildren, Anthony (Stephanie) Christoffels, Jeremy (Allison) Christoffels, Michael (Hannah) Christoffels, Matt (Sydney) Hampson, Emily Hampson, Makenna Hampson, Kailey Hampson, Marcus Traxler and Evan Traxler; seven great-grandchildren, Nicholas, David, Emma, Owen and Nathan Christoffels, and Hadley and Walker Hampson; brother-in-law, Marvin Veldkamp of Brandon; two sisters-in-law, Luella (Lloyd) Schaap and Carol Groetsema, both of Sioux Falls; and other relatives and friends.
