Al Staab, 91, formerly of Sioux Falls and Galena, passed away Friday, Dec. 13, 2024, at his home in LaVista, Neb.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 19, 2024 at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, Papillion. Interment will be at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis,. A celebration of life will be held in the near future in Sioux Falls.

He is survived by his children, Steve (LaVina) of Sioux Falls, Lana of Clarksville, Minn., Joe (Mary) of Mesquite, Nev., Gina (Shawn) Peters of Ridgecrest, Calif., Matt (Lisa) Staab of Brandon, Chris (Juli) Staab of Papillion, Neb., and Cara (Jeff Shearer) Staab of Silver Springs, N.M.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
