A ‘spicy’ cookoff with Honor

Three Rivers VFW Post 4726 carried out their annual Veterans Day Chili Cookoff. First place was awarded to Larry Beesley (from left). Second and third places went to a mother and her daughter, Crystal Reimers (second) and Sydney Reimers (third.) The ‘hottest chili’ honor was won by Post Commander Andrew Schmidt. Sydney Reimers also won the ‘best cinnamon rolls’ award. The Reimers family was also presented the Bronze Legacy Life Membership for Luke Reimers (in memorium), who was the past Brandon VFW Commander. He was instrumental in the Post’s success and had a role in building the Chili Cookoff to what it is today.
