The Lynx 4-H Club met Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at Brandon Valley Baptist Church. President Trevor Skogen called the meeting to order. Roll call was conducted by Secretary Keturah Wollman. Roll call topic was “favorite movie.”
The Marching Lynx showcased their parade technique and field show, “The Invention of Wings,” Oct. 6 at the 31st annual Festival of Bands, USA in Sioux Falls, coming away with the fourth-place sweepstakes prize.
Army Private Second Class Trevor Dean graduated from basic training Sept. 20 in Ft. Jackson, S.C. His platoon filled sandbags to help with Hurricane Florence relief efforts shortly before graduation.
