Funeral services for Richard Douglas Hewer, 57, of Panhandle, Texas, were held Thursday, Aug. 24, 2017, at Minnehaha Funeral Chapel in Garretson. Burial was in the Split Rock Lutheran Church Cemetery, rural Brandon.
Delores Guimond Schwan, 72, died Aug. 18, 2017, at her home in Brandon.

Carolyn Bill, 84, passed away Aug. 16, 2017, at Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls. She was a bus driver with the Brandon Valley School District for 40 years.
Funeral services for Janice Edna (Strassburg) Hanson, 90, of Brandon, were held Aug. 21, 2017, at Palisades Lutheran Church. Interment was in the church cemetery.
