Brandon Township supervisors are asking the city of Brandon for financial help in maintaining a stretch of their roadways, East and West Redwood and Chestnut boulevards. Township officials say the roadways get heavy use from city traffic.
A Brandon man, John McKenzie, 24, was convicted of distribution and receipt of child pornography Feb. 5 by U.S. District Judge Karen E. Shreier. McKenzie was sentenced to 97 months custody, five years of supervised release and was ordered to pay $100 to the Federal Crime Victims Fund.
