Supe's On: Teachers are the lifeblood of our schools

By:
Dr. Jarod Larson, BVSD Superintendent

A special thank you to all teachers during National Teacher Appreciation Week, May 6-10. Teachers are the lifeblood of our schools. Over 3 million teachers across the country educate our public school students with over 10,000 of those public school educators being in South Dakota. Brandon Valley teachers are at the forefront of our effort to prepare students to graduate ready for college, careers, and life.

Teacher Appreciation Week serves as an outstanding opportunity to demonstrate our appreciation for their extremely valuable work. The commitment, dedication, patience, and resiliency of our teachers inspire children to learn, grow, and pursue their dreams.

Teachers, THANK YOU for all you do! Your work is valued, impactful, and critically important!

In addition to certified teachers, many different departments and individuals play a critical role in the education of our youth. Administrators, certified support staff, and classified staff all work together to promote excellence in education within our system. The outstanding work performed by our collective team is what drives our success.

Go Lynx!
