Supe's On: Springtime is prime-time activity time at BV!

Dr. Jarod Larson, BVSD Superintendent

From Fine Arts to Athletics and everything in between, Spring is prime-time activity time!

Spring activities are in full swing and offer our patrons a tremendous number of opportunities to support our students, all while enjoying the entertainment activities provide. An annual highlight in the Spring is our 5-12 (All District) Band Concert. This year’s performance did not disappoint with over 600 BV Band program participants performing beautifully to a packed BVHS Activities Center. With the BVHS musical set to take the stage the weekend of April 25 and several athletic events scheduled, there are ample opportunities to get out and support our student-participants and enjoy the entertainment school activities offer.

With the additional pedestrian and bicycle traffic in and around our communities this Spring, it is critical that school and park zone traffic safety is our top priority. Please slow down, stay alert, and be aware of your surroundings. In addition, distracted driving continues to be a growing societal concern, and we must reinforce the importance of not texting and driving to our young drivers.

Together, we promote pedestrian and bicycle safety within our communities.
