Money in the bank

The Brandon Development Foundation was the recipient of $10,000 from Dakota Business Finance, a certified development company that provides SBA 504 loan program to businesses in South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota and parts of Nebraska. The loan program provides low interest, fixed rate financing for businesses, which can be used for the construction or purchase of a building, leasehold improvements, equipment and cash out refinancing. The City of Brandon landed first place based on the number of loans approved last year, which are Ambush Apparel and Engineered Truss Systems and Engineered Building Supply. The Ambush loan was done by Weston Hanson of First National Bank in Sioux Falls and the Engineered Truss Systems loan was done by Adam Walsh of First International Bank & Trust. The City of Brandon elected to present its $10,000 price to the Brandon Development Foundation.
