Learn more about I-90 reconstruction project tonight

Reconstruction of Exit 406 at Brandon will begin once weather allows this spring. The bridge will be replaced with a diverging diamond.

 
 

From 5-7 tonight (March 27), the South Dakota Department of Transportation is hosting a pre-construction informational meeting to share details about the Interstate 90 exit 406 reconstruction project in Brandon. This project will replace the existing interchange with a Diverging Diamond Interchange.

The informational meeting will be held at the Brandon Golf Course, 2100 E. Aspen Blvd.

Representatives from SDDOT and the contracting firm will be available to answer questions and discuss the project. Information will be provided on the project schedule and process.
The prime contractor for the $41.3 million project is T&R Contracting, Inc. of Sioux Falls. The overall completion date for the multi-year project is June 19, 2026. To learn more, contact Michael Noonan, project engineer, at (605) 367-5680 or via email at Michael.Noonan@state.sd.us.
