Kathleen Swanson, 70

Kathleen Swanson, 70, of Clara City, Minn., formerly of Valley Springs, died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 27, 2021, while vacationing with family in Florida.

A Celebration of Life for Kathy will begin at 11 a.m, Saturday June 12, 2021, at the historic Beach Pay Building in downtown Sioux Falls, 122 S. Phillips Ave. Private inurnment will take place at a later date at Pleasantview Cemetery in Valley Springs. 

She is survived by her daughter, Sarah (Donn) Holmes of Clara City, Minn.; step-children, Tony (Susan) Tupy and Kevin (Delena) Tupy, all of Sioux Falls, Kerry Tupy of California, Sonya Swanson, Garretson, and Zach Swanson, Valley Springs; 14 grandchildren, Tyler, Molly, Taia, Curtis, Brooks, Tristan, Alexandra, Andrew, Logan, Dominik, Danny, Savannah, Gavin and Owen; siblings, Kim (Paul) Gotmer of Wisconsin, Mark Hopper, Sioux Falls, Marlon (Mary Jo) Hopper of Colorado, and Jodie Geske of Minnesota.
