John Severson, 95, a lifelong resident of Brandon and Sioux Falls, died Saturday, March 27, 2021, with his family by his side. A Celebration of Life will be held in July 2021.

He is survived by his children, Julie, John, and Jill; eight grandchildren, Steve and Mike Dueis (Letaila), Stuart and Thomas Ticknor, Taylor Rames, Tiana, Dakota, and Dylan Severson; step-granddaughter, Lindsey; and great-granddaughter, Kayleigh Dueis; step great-granddaughters, Jaz, Ali, and Lexi; and many nieces and nephews.
