Harold A. Swenson, 69

Harold A. Swenson, 69, of Brandon, passed away Monday, June 30, 2025 at his home in Brandon. 

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Swedona Evangelical Covenant Church, rural Brandon, with Pastor Mick Murphy officiating. Burial will follow at the Swedona Church Cemetery. Military rites will be offered by the Sioux Falls American Legion Post 15 Honor Guard.

A time to greet the family begins at 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

Harold Allen Swenson was born May 23, 1956 in Dell Rapids to Alvin and Hazel (Oien) Swenson. He received his education in Brandon. In 1974 he entered the United States Army in Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., and served until 1976.

He was a semi-truck and concrete truck driver for the majority of his life and worked for Gerry’s Concrete for 20 years. He enjoyed fishing in his free time.

He is survived by his nieces and nephews and their families. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Hazel Swenson; and brother, Ordell Swenson. For online condolences, visit minnehahafuneralhome.com.
