Brandon Valley made girls’ soccer program history Saturday when they captured the Class AA state title, and they did it in dominating fashion by completely disheveling Roosevelt in the 2-0 victory.
Grand champion has been a recurring theme for the Lady Lynx competitive dance team this season, and for the fourth straight invite, Brandon Valley’s high-steppers brought home the top honors from the Sept. 22 Huron Invitational.
With the ability to overcome obstacles – namely dancers missing from the floor due to close contact quarantines – the Lady Lynx once again rose to the top of Saturday’s Harrisburg Invitational.

Days before the Lady Lynx stepped onto the court for their first game of the 2018-19 season, their coach Mark Stadem forecasted that this year’s team had both the skills and the mindset to “compete with anybody.”
Brandon Valley had more game than the defending AA state champs Aberdeen Central could withstand in Saturday’s SoDak 16 state-qualifier. The Lady Lynx came out on top of the lopsided 51-25 victory to earn their third consecutive trip to the state show.
