Work begins Monday on Ninth near Redwood

Ninth Avenue will close Monday as construction begins along Redwood Boulevard in Brandon.
Workers will be adding three storm sewer inlets and a 36-inch reinforcement concrete pipe down the middle of the south lane of Ninth Avenue near Redwood, said city engineer Tami Jansma.
Construction is expected to wrap up by June 10, and the city expects to keep Redwood open to traffic during construction, Jansma said.
Ninth Avenue will likely be closed the duration of the project, along with the two north entrances to Redwood Court Apartments.
