The 10th annual Brandon Citywide Fall Rummage Sales are set for Friday, Aug. 23 and Saturday, Aug. 24. Participants should register online by Wednesday, Aug. 14. To register, visit brandonrummages.com.

Brandon Valley Lynx high school football players are available to run drills or speak to Lynx youth football teams at practice. Car Show
The Sioux Falls VA Medical Center will host their annual Show & Shine Car Show starting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14. The VA is located at 2501 W. 22nd St.
Ben Clare Pie & Ice Cream Social
Ben Clare United Methodist will host their annual pie and ice cream social from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17 at the church, 26762 Ben Clare Ave., rural Valley Springs.
A free will offering will be taken and proceeds will go to the UMW projects.
Brandon Pool to close
The Brandon Pool will close for the season at 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18.
Beaver Valley Sweet Corn Social
Beaver Valley Lutheran Church’s annual Sweet Corn Social is from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18 at the church, 26214 484th Ave. The menu includes corn on the cob, new potatoes, meatballs, fresh veggies, pies, coffee and juice.
A free will offering will be taken.
BV Day at Scooter’s
Monday, Aug. 19 is Brandon Valley Day at Scooter’s Coffee in Brandon. From 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., 100 percent of sales will be donated to Brandon Valley elementary, intermediate and middle school PTA, and the Booster Clubs.
