Legion Baseball Pancake Feeds

Two annual pancake feeds – with proceeds supporting Brandon Valley’s American Legion Baseball program – are scheduled for Feb. 24 and March 24.

Sponsored by American Legion Posts 131 and 318, the first feed will be served from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24 at the Valley Springs Post, East Broadway Ave. A second feed will be served from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, March 24 at the VFW in Brandon, 321 S. Main Ave. Free will donations will be accepted at both pancake feeds.

Brandon Edge Family Bingo Night

Brandon Edge, a youth-focused community service group, invites the public to Family Bingo Night from 7-10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 at the Brandon VFW.

SVE District 6 Meeting

Sioux Valley Energy customers are invited to attend the annual District 6 Election meeting on Monday, Feb. 25 at Brandon Valley High School. A complimentary meal is served from 5:30-7 p.m.; meeting follows at 7. Incumbent Gary Fish has filed for re-election to a three-year term on the SVE Board of Directors.

Brandon Valley Fine Arts Night

Brandon Valley Fine Arts Boosters will host a districtwide BV Fine Arts Night from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, March 28 in the BVHS Commons. The night will offer make-and-take activities for kids of all ages and t-shirt printing (must provide shirt). Admission is free.

Registration now open Bethany golf tourney

Early bird registrations are being accepted through March 1 for the 18th Annual Bethany Lutheran Foundation Curt Alberty Memorial Golf Tournament.

The event is Friday, May 17 at the Brandon Golf Course. Cost is $350 per 4-person team if registered by March 1 or $400 after that date.
