Dordt, SDSU hockey to square off on Brandon ice
The collegiate hockey programs from Dordt and South Dakota State will meet up for two games on Brandon’s outdoor ice rink at McHardy Park. Games are scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7 and 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8.
Nominations sought for BV Hall of Fame
Nominations for 2019 induction into the Brandon Valley Athletic Hall of Fame are being accepted through Dec. 22. Nomination forms may be downloaded from the BVHS website under the Booster Club tab, email Bob Logan at lynxlogan@gmail.com or call (605) 261-1308.
The 2019 Hall of Fame Banquet is set for Saturday, March 30 at the Brandon Golf Course.
BAFP’s November needs
The Brandon Area Food Pantry needs for November are body wash, deodorant, 160-count napkins, liquid hand soap, dish soap and French’s Crispy Fried Onions.
Before donating food items, please check expiration dates. Monetary donations are also appreciated.
The BAFP is also accepting used eye glasses and hearing aids on behalf of the Brandon Lions Club.

Men’s Bible Study Tuesday mornings at Brandon Lutheran
A Men’s Bible Study is held at 6:30 a.m. Tuesdays at Brandon Lutheran Church. Refreshments are served and the Bible Study is led by Jim Heinitz. All men are welcome.
