Brandon Park Board survey

Brandon Park Board asks residents to complete an online survey available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/DDMJXKY.

The survey was developed to gather opinions and views of the sports and recreational amenities of the city of Brandon. Survey results will be used in forward planning and capital improvements.

 

Camp Moose on the Loose VBS

“Camp Moose on the Loose” is the theme of the July 15-19 Vacation Bible School at Brandon Valley Baptist Church, 400 N. Splitrock Blvd. VBS is for ages 4 years-6th grade and will be held from 6:30-8 p.m.

SVE member picnic dates announced

Sioux Valley Energy hwill host member picnics this summer, weather dependent, from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Picnickers are encouraged to bring their own chair/blanket.
The picnic schedule is as follows: July 27: Colman - City Park; July 30: Pipestone - SVE Service Center; Aug. 1: Brandon - SVE Service Center; Aug. 2: Hartford - Pizza Ranch/Sunshine Foods; Aug. 6: Luverne - City Park; Aug. 15: Volga - City Park; Aug. 17: Flandreau - Pool Park; Aug. 21: Madison - Library Park.

 

Register for Pigskin Classic golf tourney

Registrations are being accepted for the Pigskin Classic Golf Tournament on Saturday, Aug. 11. The 4-person scramble tees off at 8 a.m. at the Brandon Golf Course.

Cost is $60 per player (includes golf, cart and lunch). Register by emailing gusso@alliancecom.net or mailing entry form to: Bethany Gusso, 1700 Rushmore Dr., Brandon, SD 57005. Make checks payable to Brandon Valley Booster Club. Registration deadline is Aug. 1.
