Brandon Historical Society invites the public to a combined open house-ribbon cutting at the Brandon Area Museum, 109 N. Pipestone St., from 4-5 p.m. Thursday, June 21.
 
Henkel Electronics Materials Job Fair
Henkel Electronics Materials is hosting a Job Fair from 12 noon to 6 p.m. Thursday, June 21 at their Brandon location, 600 E. Willow St. To learn more, call 582-7803.
 
Beaver Valley Lutheran plans Midsommar event
The public is invited to attend the Midsommar event at Beaver Valley Lutheran Church, 1 mile east of Brandon.
The event celebrates the congregation’s 145th anniversary. In keeping with that historical perspective, the focus is on old-fashioned family fun and games.
There will be a multi-generational softball contest, various lawn games and activities beginning at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 23. A picnic dinner starts about 5 p.m. The day wraps up with the singing of some favorite old hymns.
The public is invited to return for Sunday morning worship beginning at 9:30 a.m. There is no cost.
 
Vendor Fair at BVAG
Brandon Valley Assembly of God, 201 S. Splitrock Blvd., invites the public to a Craft/Vendor Show with Food Trucks 9 a.m.-2 pm. Saturday, June 23. The craft/vendor show will be in the lower level of the church from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. and BVAG youth will host a car wash from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
 
Risen Savior plans Outdoor Movie Night
Grab a lawn chair or a blanket and enjoy a movie under the stars, compliments of Risen Savior Parish, 301 N. Splitrock Blvd., Brandon. The Wednesday, June 27 flick starts at 7 p.m. and is for kids entering the sixth grade on up.
