BVMS RAD plans Lego tournament
Brandon Valley Middle School Random Acts Diffusion (RAD) will host a Lego tournament 3:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18, in the library.
The tournament is open to all BV students in grades K-12 and prizes will be awarded in all age categories.
Registration is available on the BVMS website.
Proceeds will go to the Children’s Home Society and Brandon Area Food Pantry.

Brandon Lutheran Christmas program
The public is invited to Brandon Lutheran Church’s Christmas program, “Service of Nine Lessons & Carols,” at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10.
A soup supper follows.
Risen Savior Christmas Cantata
Risen Savior will present its Christmas cantata, “Christmas is Coming – Sing for Joy” at three different venues this month.
The free cantata will be presented at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, at Bethany Meadows; at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17 at Risen Savior; and again at 7 p.m. at St. Rose of Lima in Garretson.
There is no charge for admission. A free will offering will be taken at the door.
American Family ribbon cutting
The Josh Koob American Family Insurance Agency will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, at its new location, 306A S. Splitrock Blvd.
The public is invited.
Brandon Area Food Pantry’s December needs
The Brandon Area Food Pantry needs for December are grape and strawberry jams and jellies, sugar, liquid dish soap, stuffing, hot chocolate mix, and Styrofoam plates.
Before donating food, please check expiration dates.
Monetary donations are also appreciated.
The BAFP is open 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at 406 Main Ave.
