Supe's On: 2019-20 calendar, ‘Vision of a Graduate’ on BVSD website

The 2019-20 Brandon Valley academic calendar was recently approved by the Brandon Valley Board of Education. The start date for our Lynx next fall is Wednesday, Aug. 21. The calendar has been disseminated to our parents and guardians. In addition, the 2019-20 academic calendar is available for the community on the district webpage under the “Calendar” tab. 

Due to the recent weather event, Brandon Day at the Legislature has been rescheduled to Wednesday, Feb. 27. We are very excited that our high school student council will still be able to attend the event, engage with our elected state officials, and see civic service in action. Our students’ participation in Brandon Day at the Legislature is directly connected to our “Vision of a Graduate,” which includes the components Lead-Learn-Serve. Our “Vision of a Graduate” is included within our district’s Strategic Plan.
