The Charles R. Doman American Legion Auxiliary Unit 131 in Valley Springs is pleased to recognize Ron Abraham of Brandon as the recipient of the Presenting the Colors award for April. Ron is a member of the Valley Springs American Legion Post, having served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. Ron enlisted in the Navy so he wouldn’t have to go infantry. His youngest son served in the Army in Afghanistan, and Ron’s father-in-law served in the Army during World War II. So, the Abraham family flies the American flag as an expression of their patriotism. The Valley Springs American Legion Auxiliary thanks Ron and his various family members for their military service and commends the Abraham family for their patriotism. Submitted photo*/
