Senior Spotlight: Trey Reindl

Trey Reindl
You could say Trey Reindl is a 2019 Brandon Valley High School senior who’s been on the run.
As a four-year member of the Lynx track and field program and one year as a soccer player and another as the team manager, Trey has balanced those activities with bowling (six years), quiz bowl (four years), orchestra (four years), SALSA (four years), Mu Alpha Theta (three years) and National Honor Society (two years).
To stay on the run, he plans to study computer science at Dakota State University and run track.
Trey has focused his community service efforts on the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society, where he has volunteered the past two years.
His favorite school lunch is chicken noodle soup, and he chooses to have lunch with his “Grandma Bev,” who passed away, “because I miss her,” he shares.
Also, among his list of favorites are the BV Lynx bowling team, the color red, any Marvel movie and the music of the Casting Crowns. His best memory of high school is the 2018 state track meet.
He is the son of Jill and Jim Reindl.
