Senior Spotlight: Nathan Popp

Watching his peers bring home the state football hardware, and most recently, the AA girls’ and boys’ state championships are all fond memories Nathan Popp will leave Brandon Valley High School with, even though he didn’t compete in either sport.

He is, however, involved in BVHS trap league, HOSA, National Honor Society and is an academic award winner.

Nathan’s public service endeavors have included Polar Plunge for Special Olympics and a church youth mission trip.

The son of Gary and LaRee Popp plans to attend the University of South Dakota where he will major in biomedical engineering as an undergrad with plans to go on to medical school.

Tator tots are one of his top choices from the school cafeteria, and he’d probably be willing to share them with Carrie Underwood, his pick to have lunch with. Also, among his favorites are the Minnesota Vikings, the color blue, movie The Fast and the Furious, and musical artist Cardi B.
