Senior Spotlight: Jacob Frantzen

Jacob Frantzen is one of those students that hasn’t let high school pass him by.
The son of Amy and Joe Frantzen has been involved in a multitude of activities, including soccer and tennis, student council peer helpers, Best Buddies, SALSA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Honor Society Mu Alpha Theta, ping pong club and First Priority.
Outside the walls of Brandon Valley High, he also carves out time to be engaged in his church youth group, Y-Ball, and serves on the core team of the Brandon Empower program.
Frantzen’s many community service endeavors have led him to pursue a career in nursing, which he will major in at the University of South Dakota this fall.
Big Daddy’s pizza tops the list of his favorite school lunch, and he picks Will Farrell – “because he seems like such a funny guy” – to have lunch with, given the opportunity.
He ranks the Los Angeles Chargers and Minnesota United among his top sports teams, the color red and black, the movie, The Greatest Showman and musician, Words Played.
“Tailgating in the fan van,” is a memory he takes from high school.
