Senior Spotlight: Emily Moschell

Emily Moschell
Not long after Emily Moschell took her first steps as a toddler, she was playing softball. The sport has been a huge part of her young life, playing the game at both the club and high school levels.
In addition to playing softball all four years of high school, this 2019 Brandon Valley High School senior lends her behind-the-scenes talents as a theater tech and to Art Club. She later joined Mu Alpha Theta and National Honor Society.
Her career interests lie in medicine, and she’ll begin her pursuit of a career as a pediatric intensivist at Portland State University, where she’ll be a pre-med major and minor in Spanish.
Emily’s pick to have lunch with is her sister, Abby.
“She is one of my best friends and I am going to miss her next year when I am halfway across the country,” shares the daughter of Mark and Deb Moschell.
Her top choice from the school cafeteria is nachos grande, Other favorites are the Oregon softball, TV show How I Met Your Mother, USA softball player Jenna Lilley, and Crayola’s color, “Awesome,” which she describes as “coral, but brighter.”
The state softball tournament her junior season is one of her best memories of BVHS.
