Richard ‘Rick’ Van Heerde, 69

Richard “Rick” Van Heerde, 69, of Colton, died Monday, Dec. 13, 2021, at his home. Memorial services were held Friday, Dec. 17, 2021, at The Reformed Church, Dell Rapids. Burial preceded the service at the Colton Cemetery. 

Survivors include his wife, Pam, Colton; mother, Johanna Van Heerde, Colton; daughters, Robin (Tom) Jacobs, Sioux Falls, Jill (Tim) Devitt, Worthing, Kristi (Matt) Anderson, Hartford, and Heidi Van Heerde, Bemidji, Minn.; grandchildren, Kennedy (Calvin) Treichler, Maxwell Jacobs, Gerrett Devitt, Kate Devitt, Kendall Anderson, Lucy Anderson, and Lawrenzo Sailor; sister, Janice (Don) Reurink, Brandon; brothers, Dale (Tina) Van Heerde and Dean (Carolyn) Van Heerde, all of Chester; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
