Memorial services for Pastor John W. Long, 81, of Brandon, were held Monday, Feb. 4, 2019, at Rustic Hills Community Church in Sioux Falls.

Pastor Long died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019 in Sioux Falls. 

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Delores Long, Brandon; four children, Sherilyn (Jim) Burckhalter and Melanie (Mike) Howard, all of Phoenix, Ariz., Nathan (Sara) Long, St. Cloud, Minn., and Dr. Greg (Wendy) Long, Sioux Falls; 11 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.
