One business out of 46 fails April 25 liquor compliance

Only one business out of 46 businesses that have alcohol sales licenses failed the April 25 liquor compliance checks conducted by the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office.

Cubby’s in Dell Rapids is the business that failed.

Brandon businesses that passed the compliance check are Expressway, Casey’s, Circle K, Splitrock C Store, Tailgator’s Bar and Grill, Brandon Spirits, 212º The Boiling Point, Dollar General and The Gruff Plates + Pours.

The Corner Bar in Valley Springs, State Line Casino in Rowena, and both the Monarch Lounge and Safari Bar and Grill in Renner passed.

Garretson businesses that passed the compliance check are Dollar General, Jesse James Mini-Mart, The Combine, Palisades Oil, Sports Cabin, The Gulch and Garretson Food Center.

Alcohol compliance checks are conducted periodically throughout the county in an effort to reduce the incidents of underage purchase of alcoholic beverages.
