The fall-winter 2019 issue of Tri-State Boutiques Today & Select Specialty Shops magazine is now on local newsstands, compliments of the participating businesses and Brandon Valley Media Group. The magazine can also be viewed free of charge by clicking on the E-Edition link at www.brandonvalleyjournal.com.
The 28-page magazine puts the spotlight on boutiques and specialty shops in the tri-state area within a 60-mile radius of Brandon. A map in the magazine leads readers to the communities of participating and/or featured businesses.
Back-to-school through the holidays is the focus of this issue. The magazine includes features on The Porch on Main in Sibley, Iowa, Creekside Antiques in nearby Beaver Creek, Minn., ReBorn Home Furnishings in Luverne, Minn., and Ellie Stone Bride and Posh, both in Sioux Falls.
Plus, the magazine provides readers with “reasons to shop,” a calendar of events of the participating advertisers, Hot Buys, updates on two Brandon-based boutiques, Beautique and The Paisley Pod, how to decorate a dorm room and much, much more.
“The staff and I are truly excited about this issue,” said Jill Meier, publisher of Tri-State Boutiques Today & Select Specialty Shops. “The tri-state area boasts a wealth of boutiques and select specialty shops filled with personally-selected fashions, furniture, home décor, gifts for friends and family, gourmet foods and kitchen trinkets. And the best part is that the owners and staff of these destination shops provide you with a whole lot of personal customer experience. We’re elated to tell their stories, share fashion tidbits, the latest décor trends and more.”
BVMG, the parent company of the Brandon Valley Journal and the Brandon Valley Trader, is located in Brandon, and also publishes a spring/summer issue of the magazine.
“We’re always on the hunt for story ideas and new boutiques and specialty shops to highlight in this publication,” Meier said. “So, if there’s something you want us to dig into, have a new store in your neighborhood or community you’d like to see recognized, or are a business that simply wants to be part of future Tri-State Today publications, please do not hesitate to contact us.”
