Sjogren receives SDSU scholarships

South Dakota State University senior Holden Sjogren is receiving the Duwayne and Joan Knauf Pharmacy Scholarship, the Kenneth and Elizabeth Redman Scholarship and the Robert W. and Ardith G. Olson Scholarship in Pharmacy this academic year.

Sjogren, son of Chuck and Robin Sjogren of Brandon, is a 2014 Brandon High School graduate and is majoring in pharmacy.

USD Speech & Debate Team presented Academic Excellence Award

The University of South Dakota’s Speech and Debate Team was presented the Award for Academic Excellence from the South Dakota Board of Regents. Brandon native Bailey Quanbeck accepted the award on behalf of the USD speech and debate team. The award recognizes the student organization for their outstanding academic, community and organizational work.
