BV Hardwood Challenge

on horizon

The 12th annual Brandon Valley Hardwood Challenge basketball tournament will be played Saturday, Nov. 23. The tournament is open to both boys and girls teams in grades 3-8. Added this year is a one-day tournament for ninth-grade boys on Friday, Nov. 22.

Registration is $160 per team and can be done online at teambrandonvalley.com.

Splitrock Ladies League

The Splitrock Ladies bowled Nov. 12 with the following results: High Team Game & Series, JSA/Engineers/Land Surveyors, 957 & 2,656; High Individual Game, Jill Reindl, 196, which was also 62 pins over her average; High Individual Series, Bonnie Kramer, 495.

DeVona Engebretson picked up the 2-7-8 split

Holly Mulder picked up the 3-10 split; Jan Fonder picked up the 2-7-8 and 3-10 splits; and Barb Risty picked up the 3-10 and 5-10 splits.
