Scout Players of the Week

Six membxers of Brandon Valley High’s football program are recognized as “Scout Player of the Week”: Isaac Rodriguez, Sam Lembcke, Carter Borchardt, Ryan Barker, Cole Sylliaasen and Hunter Marso. Lynx defensive coach Matt Christensen said these student-athletes “show up and work really hard. We need them and respect their effort very much.”

Splitrock Ladies League

The Splitrock Ladies bowled Oct. 24 with the following results: High Team Game and Series, Alliance Communications, 857 and 2,448; High Individual Game, Gwynne Anderson, 186; High Individual Series, Cheryl Scholl, 467.

Marcia Bork and Ann Behrend picked up the 3-10 split. Pat Paulsen picked up the 5-10 split. Holly Mulder picked up the 5-6 split. Carolyn Bauer picked up the 4-5 split.

BV Hardwood Challenge

The 10th annual Brandon Valley Hardwood Challenge will be Saturday, Nov. 18, at BV High School, BV Middle School and BV Intermediate School.
