Letter to the Editor: Update your voter registration now

Now is a good time to check your voter registration status, to make sure your address and etc. are up to date. Check with your state auditor’s office. In South Dakota, that’s at sdsos.gov. From the menu, go to the Voter Information Portal and then do a Voter Registration Name Search. If you need to make any changes, you can find the voter registration form there. You can request an absentee ballot and can track it on the site, and it will tell you where your voting precinct is and all the ballot stuff. Very handy site. Check it out. Now is the time to make sure your voter information is correct.
