Letter to the Editor: Marv's appreciates the communities it serves

Dear Marv’s Sanitary Service Customers:

Thank you all for choosing Marv’s to take care of your recycling and waste removal needs. We appreciate the business and cooperation you have given us over the years. From the praise and recommendations that we receive on Facebook, to when you shout “thank you’s” and compliments to us as we pass you in the Brandon and Valley Springs parades, it all is much appreciated.

My name is Grace Wilford and I am a granddaughter of Marv Veldkamp. My grandfather founded this business with his wife, my grandmother, Leona Veldkamp, in 1971. The business has sure grown and expanded since then. Some of you may have been with us for a good portion of that time; however, many customers have recently joined this year. Our thanks extend to every single one of you regardless of when you hired us.

It is the little things that truly do set people apart. Kind notes and gestures make our employees smile and help encourage them throughout the day. This goes to show what a kind and loving community the town of Brandon is. It is our honor to serve such wonderful people day in and day out.

We hope that you all will continue to feel happy with our service and are not afraid to let us know if you have ideas on how we could improve. Don’t forget to say hello to our fantastic workers when you see them!
