Lady Lynx headline Metro All-Conference roster

The Lady Lynx – the Metro Conference champs two years’ running – landed six of its players on the 2020 Metro All-Conference girls’ soccer team. Sioux Falls Lincoln followed with five, Roosevelt has four, O’Gorman lists three and Washington rounds out the roster with two.
Selected from Brandon Valley are a trio of seniors – Julia Kreutner (forward), Emma Haas (midfielder) and Kennedy Nuebel (forward) – and Zoey Mandery, a junior defender, and sophomores Tyrese Zacher (defender) and Emma Kirlin (forward).
Three sophomores and two juniors from Lincoln were named to the elite squad. They include a pair of sophomore defenders, Addie Fawcett and Ellie Hurt, junior defender Avery Nelson, and midfielders Mariah Siem, a sophomore, and Alaina Sorenson, a junior.
From the Rough Riders’ program are seniors Macie Haggerty (midfielder) and Mya Drager (forward), junior defender Halle Miller and sophomore goalkeeper Katie Spicer.
Selected from the O’G Knights program are senior midfielder Sierra Barkus and defenders Auburn Brenner, a junior, and Brooke Oberbroekling, a senior.
Completing the Metro All-Conference roster are Washington seniors Halle Johnson, a defender, and Nisha Adhikari, a midfielder.
