Judith Marie Turner, daughter of Warren and Marcella (Smith) Turner, was born July 1, 1942 in Tracy, Minn. She grew up there and graduated from Tracy High School in 1960. Right out of high school, Judy worked for a few years at an insurance company in Minneapolis, Minn., before returning to the Tracy area.
Judy was united in marriage with Eugene V. “Gene” Brosseau from Marshall, Minn., on Oct. 20, 1962 in Tracy. The couple had two children, Jan and Jim, while living in Sioux Falls. In 1967, Judy and Gene moved to Brandon, where they made their life together.
Judy was able to be a stay at home mother, although she worked part-time in the school cafeteria when the kids were in grade school. When the kids got older, Judy became involved at the Brandon Golf Course. She managed the course and worked in the pro shop for 35 years. Judy made many friends over the years and always remained close to the golf course by staying very active with golf course activities.
Judy loved all sports, including bowling and tennis, but golf was her true passion in life. Over the years she earned many trophies, placed in many golf tournaments and even had four holes in one. Anyone who knew Judy knew how much she loved to play golf.
Judy and Gene were very fortunate to have spent 14-plus years wintering in Arizona during their retirement years. They enjoyed playing tennis and golf while making many new friends from every area of the country. Judy had a very friendly and outgoing personality and those who met her instantly loved her. Judy loved to laugh and joke around. She enjoyed life to the fullest and will be missed by many
