Judge Paul Kern, 82

Mass of Christian Burial for Judge Paul James Kern, 82, was held Monday, Nov. 19, 2018 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Lake Andes. 

Judge Kern died Friday, Nov. 16, 2018.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia, of Lake Andes; daughters, Janine (Greg Biegler) Kern of Rapid City, Ruth Kern-Scott of Beresford; sons, Paul (Tracy) Kern of Brandon, Frank (Johna) Kern of Canton; special nephew, Patrick (Lisa) Kraning, Lake Norden; sister, Mary Ann Caddell; niece, Peggy Ann Oursland, Phoenix, Ariz.; and grandchildren, Madeleine and Savanah Scott, Sioux Falls, Paul, Terrence and Olivia Kern of Brandon; brother-in-law, Francis McCabe; sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen Jones, Colleen McCabe; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of arrangements.
