Joe Watterson, 72

Joe Watterson, 72, of Sioux Falls, died Friday, Dec. 10, 2021, at the Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls.

Memorial services were held Saturday, Dec. 18 at Calvary Assembly of God. Interment  will be held at a later date at the Soth Dakota Veterans Cemetery north of Sioux Falls.

He is survived by his wife Jill; children. Eric Watterson and Tricia (Justin) Miller, all of Sioux Falls; step-children, Cherrish (Al) Scholting, Sioux Falls, and Maranda Slocum (Ryan Gross), Harrisburg; seven grandchildren; brothers, Jerry (Karen) Watterson, Brandon, and Jim (Nancy) Watterson, Melvin, Iowa; along with several nephews, nieces and cousins.
