Gitchie Girl Uncovered topic of Oct. 17 history talk

Minnehaha County Historical Society is hosting the Third Thursday Free to Public History Talk at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17 at the Old Courthouse Musuem, 200 W. Sixth St., Sioux Falls. 

Written by Phil and Sandy Hamman, Gitchie Girl Uncovered is the follow-up book to the Gitchie Manitou Murders that took place Nov. 17. 1973. This book provides more behind-the-scenes look at the murder, the investigation, the criminals and the story of the sole survivor, Sandra Cheskey.
