Donald Schubert, 89

Funeral services for Donald “Dutch” George Schubert, 89, of Brandon and formerly of Garretson, were held Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019, at the Minnehaha Funeal Home in Garretson. Burial was in the Flowerfield Cemetery, rural Hills, Minn.

He died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019, at the Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls, surrounded by his family after a short illness with cancer. 

He is survived by sons, Donald “Gene” (Diane) of Coralville, Iowa, Calvin (Pat) of Sisseton, Robin of Sioux Falls, and Kevin (Irene) of LaVista, Neb.; daughter, Michelle Schubert, Brandon; six grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
