City Brief: Clarke to attend ICC Natl. training conference

Paul Clarke, building official-code enforcement officer for the city of Brandon and Director of the South Dakota Building Officials Association, will represent SBOA and the city of Brandon at the International Code Council National Training Conference Oct. 21-24 in Richmond, Va.
The conference will offer industry-leading educational sessions, networking events, historic building tours and an expo on building safety and design.
The ICC is a member-focused group dedicated to developing model codes and standards used in the design, build and compliance process to construct safe, sustainable, affordable and resilient structures. Most U.S. communities, including Brandon, and many global markets choose the International Codes.
