Concrete Pavement Restoration and Joint Re-Seal
Brandon, South Dakota
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Brandon, South Dakota, at City Hall at 304 Main Avenue, P.O. Box 95, Brandon South Dakota 57005 until 2:00pm, local time, May 27th, 2021 and then will be publicly opened at 308 Main Avenue and read immediately thereafter.
The project generally consists of joint re-sealing, PCC panel and joint repairs, and curb and gutter repairs along Holly Boulevard and Aspen Boulevard.

Upon request, a bidder who intends, in good faith, to bid upon the project, one paper copy of the bidding documents will be furnished at no charge.
Bid shall be submitted on the prescribed form. Bids will be rejected if they show any conditions or uncalled for alternative bids. All bids shall be on the basis of cash payment according to the terms of the bidding documents.
The submittal of the Bid will constitute an incontrovertible representation by Bidder that the Bidder has examined carefully the bidding documents, visited the site, is familiar with the local conditions under which the work is to be performed, and correlated bidder’s observation with the requirements of the bidding documents. 
Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security as specified in the bidding documents. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time.
The City of Brandon reserves the right to retain the bid security of the three lowest bidders for a period not to exceed 30 days after the date and time set for opening of the bids. The City of Brandon reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any parts thereof.

The Brandon City Council met in a special meeting session at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at the Council Chambers at 308 Main Avenue, Brandon, South Dakota.  Present were Dana Clark, Barb Fish, Tim Jorgenson and Jack Parliament.  Others present were: City Administrator, Bryan H. Read; Finance Officer, Christina Smith; Police Chief, Jamie Steffel and Golf Course Manager, Andrew Bauer.  Absent: Vickie David and David Kull.
Alderwoman Fish moved Alderman Jorgenson seconded to approve the agenda.  Motion passed.  
The special meeting was called to meet interested candidates for the vacant Mayor Seat.  The position was reopened for any additional interested candidates.  The Council met additional candidate James Heinitz.  Chuck Parsons, TJ Cameron and Jack Parliament continue to be a candidate for Mayor.  No action taken.
At 5:22 p.m., hearing no further business, the meeting adjourned.

Pursuant to SDCL 11-4-12, notice is hereby given that the Brandon Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on June 3, 2021, regarding a proposed amendment to the Brandon Zoning Regulations.  Specifically, the Planning Commission will be considering a recommendation of adoption to the City Council for Ordinance No. 631, amending Chapter 15-14-3, Additional Use Regulations, Off-Street Parking.
A copy of the proposed amendment to the Brandon Zoning Regulations is available for public review at the Brandon City Hall in the office of the Finance Officer during regular business hours.
The Planning Commission public hearing will be held at the following time, date, and location:
