Charles R. Doman American Legion Auxiliary minutes

The Charles R. Doman American Legion Auxiliary Unit 131 in Valley Springs held their monthly meeting on Monday, April 15, at 7 p.m. Old business discussed included fireproof filing cabinet options and booster seats for the Legion hall. New business included planning for the Memorial Day dinner and election of officers.

The Valley Springs Auxiliary will serve a dinner following the American Legion’s Memorial Day program on Monday, May 27. The dinner menu will be scalloped potatoes and ham, corn, coleslaw, dinner rolls, and a variety of bars and brownies for dessert. The cost is a freewill donation.

The next Auxiliary meeting will be Monday, May 20 at 7 p.m.
