The Charles R. Doman American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 131 in Valley Springs held their monthly meeting on Monday, Nov. 26, at 7 p.m.
Old business discussed included a recap of the feather party and discussion about a fireproof filing cabinet for the Unit’s historical documents. New business included the Sioux Falls VA Christmas shop times and planning for the New Year New Supplies event in December.
The Valley Springs Auxiliary again would like to recognize a member who reached a milestone for years of continuous membership. Since the last meeting, Etoyle Aljets was recognized for 55 years of continuous membership. She received a certificate in honor of her many years of dedicated service to our veterans.
The next Auxiliary meeting will be Monday, March 18 at 7 p.m.
