Chamber Chat: Auction Amore offers fun, food and fellowship

Join us for an evening of hors d’oeuvres, spirits and an entertaining auction experience! The Brandon Valley Area Chamber of Commerce is holding the 6th Annual Auction Amore on Friday, Feb. 9 just in time for Valentine’s Day. This is a great way to get out of the house and have a “date night” with your significant other or just a fun time out with friends. Ten percent of net proceeds from this event go towards scholarships for Brandon Valley High School seniors. Last year’s event made it possible for the Chamber to award two, $500 scholarships to some very deserving applicants.

Ever played heads or tails auction style? For $10, you can have the chance to win $250 cash by entering the Heads & Tails contest. Is jewelry what you like? Play the Gift Box Surprise game for $10 and receive a pair of earrings as well as a chance to win your choice of a women’s or men’s Michael Kors watch or a fashionable jewelry item worth $250-plus from the Diamond Room.

This event caters to all with auction items ranging from $40 game tickets to vacation packages valued over $1,000! There is something for everyone, as we have items for couples, golfers, music enthusiasts, wine lovers and much more. There will be a silent and live auction with over 50 items to bid on. 

Did I mention there will be free wine for the early birds from 5:30-6 p.m.? Tickets are just $20 and can be purchased online at BrandonValleyChamber.com or at the Brandon Valley Area Chamber of Commerce office Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Space is limited, as there are only 300 tickets available.
