Celebration to host mental health program for teens Nov. 18

Celebration United Methodist Church, in cooperation with NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) South Dakota, will host “Ending the Silence,” a free event for area youth and parents, at 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, at the church.
Geared toward youth in grades 6-12, “Ending the Silence” is a 50-minute interactive presentation to help teens learn about the warning signs of mental health conditions for themselves and their friends. 
The event begins with a free meal at 5 p.m., followed by the presentation and debriefing from 6-8 p.m.
RSVP by registering for a ticket at celebrationbrandon.org or calling the church office at 605-582-7995.
All youth in the Brandon and Valley Springs communities are invited.
Celebration United Methodist Church is located at 500 Pasque Flower Trail in Brandon.
