Celebrating Kingbird Coffee’s new brewers

Jessica Gross (cutting the celebratory ribbon) and her husband, Michael, took ownership of Kingbird Coffee from Billy and Ellison Cutrer in late January. They brought on Kate Marselus as the head barista, who also has ownership in the business. The local coffeehouse has expanded hours of operation and added Flyboy Donuts to their menu. The new ownership is offering up space in its loft for meetings and have brought in a video game system for youth to play there after school as well. Michael Gross said several special events are also being planned. Membership of the Brandon Valley Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated the change of ownership with a ribbon cutting on April 5.
